The round polished case frames a dial of rare depth: a globe sub-dial at the upper register traces the continents in applied relief, a retrograde date display scrolls with quiet mechanical precision on the right, and two chronograph registers complete the picture — all drawn together by the inscription Genius Horarium Mechanicus, Latin for "genius of the mechanical timekeeper", alongside a heritage reference dated 1853. Every element earns its place. Luminous hands ensure legibility from day into evening.
